Artist's Description

Captured by award winning photographer Joan Davis in the summer of 2006. This beautiful black horse was standing on the top of a hill filled with vibrant green grass, surrounded by blue sky and puffy clouds. As I took the photo, he turned to look at me.

About Joan Davis

Joan Davis

ABOUT JOAN DAVIS Joan Davis has spent her entire life surrounded by horses – first as a trainer and a competitor – and now as a photographer. A riding accident forced her permanently out of the saddle in 2001. Her camera is the way she stays connected to the animals she so loves. Most weekends she can be found behind the lens of her Canon camera photographing horses riders competing in the sportl of eventing. On occasion, she is able to sneak away for some non-equine adventures with her camera. You will find some of those photos here. Please enjoy this journey with her through her photography.
