Captured by award winning photographer Joan Davis in the spring of 2013 during her visit to the Sombrero Ranch in Craig, Colorado. This lovely team of grey horses were pulling the stagecoach down the dusty ranch roads � the old west version of a taxi cab! A stagecoach is a type of covered wagon for passengers and goods. Usually drawn by a �four in hand� or team of four horses, they made regular trips between stages or stations, which were places of rest provided for stagecoach travelers.
